We completed the structural design of a new pool building. This project included both a hydrotherapy and plunge pool specifically designed for children with intellectual disability, so accessibility was a key design feature.

The design included a concrete raft foundation with ground improvement beneath it designed to mitigate liquefiable soils. Also, the concrete block walls supporting the roof framing and forming the internal partition walls that supported both roof loads and braced the building for wind and earthquake loads.
